Blattodea is the fist collection designed by Sara Catalán, was developed in the "EASD Valencia" university. The inspiration for this collection were the insects of the homonym order.

 
 In this collection a series of basics designs, with details which remains the most distinctive features of an insect, as the extremities union, the pleat that their bodies are shaped and color spectrum among others. The colors are black, white and grey of the termites and in the other hand the reds and garnets from the cockroach. Also any type of decoration was avoided in order to create a clean image  which led the attention in the details previously explained.

 

The most interesting part of Blattodea is the union of different classic resources, such as colors and shapes, but the union this resources creates a new and different aesthetics, my identity as designer.
